Police seek suspects in fatal stabbing, robbery cases

Police are still looking for two suspects in connection with a robbery last Saturday.

They say at 2:30 a.m. two suspects walked up to another man on Lincoln Avenue, took out a gun and stole a Nintendo Switch and an iPhone.

No injuries were reported.

The suspects are described as Hispanic males.

Police are also looking for a suspect who fatally stabbed a man on Atlantic Avenue.

Police found 47-year-old Steven Vargas lying on the sidewalk Wednesday night with a stab wound and multiple gun wounds to his chest. He later died at a hospital.

That suspect is described as between 40 and 50 years old with a light complexion. He was last seen wearing a dark colored jacket, jeans, dark colored shoes and a white shirt.
