BROOKLYN -

A DJ, New York City radio station Mega 97.9 and a restaurant in Bushwick joined together to help those recently affected by natural disasters.

A hurricane and earthquake relief drive was held Monday evening to provide relief for people in Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic and Mexico.

The event was organized by DJ Carlito, from Mega 97.9.

Organizers asked people to bring supplies like canned food, water, clothes and medical supplies to the No Bull restaurant on Flushing Avenue to be collected and donated.

News 12 is told donations will be shipped out Saturday thanks to a partnership with Royal Caribbean.
