Man stabbed during attempted robbery in East New York

EAST NEW YORK -

A man was stabbed in the chest during an attempted robbery in Brooklyn, police say.

The incident happened Monday morning on Jerome Street and McClancy Place.

The 51-year-old man was stabbed once in the chest by the suspect outside a residence during an attempted robbery, police say.  

He was rushed to Brookdale Hospital where he is expected to be OK.

No arrests have been made, and police are looking for at least two suspects.
