A letter bearing swastikas and the phrase "Make America Great Again" was sent to a Jewish-owned bakery in Brooklyn, police say.
The letter was sent Monday to the Weiss Bakery on 13th Avenue in the predominantly Orthodox neighborhood of Borough Park.
Above the words is a black swastika surrounded by a white circle on a red background.
Assemblyman Dov Hikind says the NYPD's Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating the matter.
Police say several other letters were sent to businesses in New York City, but did not say if they were connected to the one sent to the kosher bakery.
Acting Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez commented by saying, "We are aware of this and similar letters that have been sent. We are investigating and will not stand for these acts."
