Fans see heightened security at Bruno Mars show

Posted: Updated:
BROOKLYN -

The first major concert in Brooklyn since Sunday's shooting in Las Vegas was held at the Barclays Center Wednesday night.

Many in attendance at the Bruno Mars concert say that although they've been to shows at the venue before, there was increased security Wednesday.

They say they noticed more organization, announcements, and many say they were confident in the security measures.

A Barclays Center official told News 12 in a statement, "We have always and will continue to work very closely with local, state and federal law enforcement partners on all matters of security and public safety for our venue and our guests."
