A second person has been arrested in connection to a deadly home invasion in Bed-Stuy.
Suzette Troutman, 45, of Brooklyn, faces charges in connection to the incident.
At least two suspects broke into the Decatur Street home on Oct 11. and tied up Waldiman Thompson, 91, and his wife Ethyln, 100, before ransacking the home. Waldiman later died at the hospital of a heart attack, officials say.
Police say Troutman helped care for both of the victims, often taking them to doctor's appointments and doing their grocery shopping.
Investigators also arrested Dwayne Blackwood, 27, last week in connection to the incident.
Police say Troutman was the mastermind behind the crime and waited in a car outside of the home during the robbery before driving both suspects away from the scene.
Both Troutman and Blackwood are facing second-degree murder, two counts of second-degree assault and two counts of burglary charges.
Troutman worked in a sales call center at Altice USA, the parent company of News 12. The company says she is currently suspended from her job.
Police are still searching for a third man believed to be the second suspect who assisted Blackwood during the incident.
