SHEEPSHEAD BAY -

A 6-year-old boy and the man accused of kidnapping him have both been found, according to police.

The search for both ended Monday after investigators located the child inside of a hotel with family friend, 38-year-old Emmanuel Kolajo.

Devin Monroe was reported missing this weekend when his mother came to pick him up from her friend and no one was home.

Police say the boy has autism and is non-verbal.

The boy was found, after police sources say a hotel guest recognized him from watching the news and called 911.

Police say Monroe was evaluated at Woodhull Hospital and is said to be in stable condition.

Monroe’s mother did not want to speak on camera, but says her son is doing just fine.

Kolajo is in custody, and police are questioning him at a precinct.
