The state has officially declared last month's Norwalk building fire a disaster.
The designation means that those affected will be eligible for low-interest disaster loans.
The fire broke out at the Stonewood Condominiums, displacing all residents who lived there.
No major injuries were reported. But dozens of people lost their possessions and were left homeless right before the holidays.
