Dog Day Fridays for March 9
GREAT NEWS! The dogs featured in this week's segment have been adopted! This week's dogs were up for adoption at Last Chance Animal Rescue in Southampton. Their phone number is 631-478-6844. They can also be contacted via email at applications@lcarescue.org.
Oscar and Felix are approximately 3 to 4 years old Chihuahua mixes. Oscar is about 10 lbs and Felix is about 6 lbs. They are two of five dogs that were found in an abandoned warehouse and brought to the shelter. Oscar and Felix are very affectionate little sweet love bugs who love to snuggle. They are both great with other dogs and children.
Sophie is a wonderful 6-year-old lab/setter mix. She was adopted as a puppy and developed skin issues due to food allergies. Sadly, her former owner did not want to 'dump any more money into her' and she was surrendered to us. With proper food and supplements, Sophie has a beautiful coat and is a loving, loyal companion who just wants to be with people. She loves other dogs, cats, and especially children. She is house trained.
