Snow tapers off as nor'easter passes through region
Snow is beginning to taper off as the latest nor'easter moves through the area Tuesday.
A winter weather advisory is still in effect but will end at 12 p.m. Tuesday.
Residents used caution during the morning commute in anticipation of slippery road conditions and reduced visibility due to the storm.
Snow began falling just after midnight as a light, steady snowfall continued to build up in intensity during this morning's rush. Isolated shower or some wet snow could fall going into the evening hours.
High temperatures Tuesday will be around 42 degrees, with wind gusts 30 to 40 mph.
There's another chance for a wintry mix of precipitation Wednesday afternoon, with highs in the low-40s.
