Thousands turn out for NYC Half Marathon with BK start line

PROSPECT PARK -

Over 22,000 runners hit the pavement Sunday morning to participate in the 13th annual New York City Half Marathon.

This year, the brand new course started at Grand Army Plaza and took runners on a 13.1-mile tour through the city.

The race finished at West 75th Street in Central Park.

All streets that were closed for the race are back open.
