Former VP Joe Biden speaks at Connecticut college

Former Vice President Joe Biden made a stop in the state Friday night for a speaking event at Southern Connecticut State University.
The sold-out "A Conversation with Vice President Joe Biden" was held at the Lyman Center as part of the school's lecture series.
Biden tackled the topic of politics during his talk, but he's also been in the news this week, trading jabs with President Donald Trump. On Thursdsay, Trump said on Twitter that Biden "would go down hard and fast" if the two ever got into a fist fight. Biden said on Tuesday that if they were in high school, he would "beat the hell" out of the president for disrespecting women.
Biden also held a question-and-answer period with the audience.
This is the college's 20th year of its lecture series that has included Walter Cronkite, Jay Leno and Michael J. Fox.
