New signs to adorn Jackie Robinson Parkway
Posted: Updated:The city's Department of Transportation will be honoring baseball legend Jackie Robinson with new signs leading up to the Jackie Robinson Parkway.
The DOT says that it has already installed 25 new signs that feature images of Robinson along the parkway and entrance ramps.
These installations also help mark Jackie Robinson Day, which will be celebrated by MLB and his fans this Sunday to honor the anniversary of his first baseball game in 1947.
