Officials say water pressure has been restored after a major water main break Monday afternoon in Danbury.
The break happened near the intersection of Tamarack and Hayestown avenues, causing problems for the east side of the city.
Mayor Mark Boughton is still advising all residents to boil water before using if they have city water. He says residents should also continue to use bottled water for brushing teeth.
Officials say the requirement on boiling water should be lifted by Thursday.
