Brooklyn middle school students rally against gun violence

Brooklyn middle school students rallied Monday against gun violence in the wake of the most recent school shooting in Texas.
Eighth-graders from William Alexander M.S. 51 organized the rally and moment of silence to honor the victims of the Friday shooting that killed 10 people at Santa Fe High School in Texas.
Students gathered in front of the school and held posters with victims' names written on them. Many of them wore orange, the national color of gun safety.
Student rally organizer Rosebell McKinley says she and her fellow students are raising awareness, not just for Santa Fe, but also for Parkland and Sandy Hook.
