A naval vessel made its way up the coast toward the SUNY Maritime Campus Wednesday.

The vessel named the "USNS City of Bismarck" navigated from Norfolk, Virginia, and through the city's waterways to the school’s campus for Fleet Week.

On Thursday, those who have registered will get a tour of the inner workings of the vessel.
This year, more than 2,500 people registered to get a glimpse inside. Last year 2,200 people registered.

Thousands of school children from all around the Bronx will come to look at the naval vessel.

The students will have the chance to see all of the space on board the Bismarck. They can also stop by to see the “Corwith Cramer,” a sail-powered research ship docked on the same pier.
