A Stratford restaurant worker left her job Thursday with a deposit bag before two masked, armed robbers pulled up in a maroon minivan and made off with the money, police say.
One of the suspects flashed a gun at the victim outside the Duchess restaurant on Lordship Boulevard in the South End neighborhood. Police say she was leaving work to take cash to the bank.
The restaurant manager told News 12 that everyone there is fine but did not comment on the robbery.
Police say they are looking for two suspects and a Dodge or Plymouth minivan with a silver bumper and missing its rear right hubcap. They are also looking for surveillance video from nearby cameras.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Stratford Police Department.
