Deidra Mensah put a picture of her sequined prom dress on Instagram last week while taking a train to meet her date in New Jersey.
She tagged it #TransitBae, and next thing she knew, the picture was garnering tens of thousands of views.
Now she's got 12 posts, a fancy yellow dress designed by Mimmy Yeboah and more than 5,000 followers.
"She's a really dope designer, you know," Mensah says of Yeboah. "It's just all about business and branding. I hope it just booms."
