Police seek suspect involved in East Williamsburg Chase bank robbery

EAST WILLIAMSBURG -

Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a bank robbery suspect.

Police say the man is accused of robbing a Chase bank at 725 Grand Avenue over in East Williamsburg.

News 12 is told he approached a teller and passed a note demanding money Friday around 10 a.m.

The teller gave him the money and the suspect fled from the scene.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
