US Open tournament comes to Shinnecock Hills Golf Club

The world's biggest golf tournament is making its way to Long Island Monday.
The 118th U.S. Open Championship will be held at the Shinnecock Hills Golf Club in Southampton.
Thousands of fans are expected to watch famed golfers like Bubba Watson, Jordan Spieth and Tiger Woods compete.
Traffic backups, security concerns and huge crowds on Long Island Rail Road trains are expected throughout the event.
Many are particularly concerned with the LIRR because of its poor performance during the Belmont Stakes. Signal problems caused heavy delays and some racing fans say they missed a good portion of the day because of those delays.
The railroad's president Phil Eng told News 12 he hopes to prevent a repeat of what happened at Belmont.
Practice rounds for the competition will begin Monday and the first round of the competition starts on Thursday.
