Man in critical condition after crashing into parked construction trailer

Officials say a 29-year-old man is in critical condition after crashing into a parked construction trailer early Thursday morning.
The incident happened on Johnson Avenue near the corner of Bushwick Avenue in Williamsburg at around 3 a.m.
According to officials, the victim drove a 2006 Infiniti into a stationary construction trailer that was parked across from 225 Johnson Ave. and got lodged beneath it.
The victim had to be pulled out of the car by responding emergency workers.
A 39-year-old woman who was in the front passenger seat was transported to the hospital where she is being treated for minor injuries. A 30-year-old man inside the construction vehicle is also being treated for minor injuries.
The driver of the car is currently being treated for what News 12 is told are life-threatening injuries.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
