An ongoing heat wave stretched into Tuesday, baking the borough with temperatures in the 90s for the fifth-straight day.
News 12 spoke with residents at the Kosciuszko pool in Bed-Stuy.
The city extended hours at public pools by an hour until 8 p.m.
Temperatures are expected to cool off slightly Wednesday, when highs will top out around 87, marking a possible end to the heat wave.
There will be a chance of thunderstorms, but skies are expected to clear up in time for the Macy's fireworks display over the East River.
