People from all over the city flocked to Kings Plaza Mall Saturday to visit the first Primark to open in the borough.

The Ireland-based discount fashion chain has hundreds of stores across nearly a dozen countries but its Brooklyn location is just the ninth store in the country.

Residents in the area are beyond excited to see the new retailer finally open.

"I love this store," said Monique Johnson, a Bronx resident who originally is from London. "I just couldn't wait and I kept looking…on the website."

Johnson said she rushed to the grand opening of the store because Primark was one of her favorite stores from home.

The three-floor space offers items like shirts, pants, shorts, accessories and other clothing for women, men and children.
