Gamers compete in fighting video game tournament

A video game tournament just for adults took place Saturday in Greenpoint.

Hundreds of gamers turned out for the fighting video game competition.

People competed for a chance to reach the finals of the national video game competition.

Gamers say events like these are much more than just a hobby.

"Video games, especially competitive videos games, teaches you a lot about discipline and self-control," said video gamer Sherry Khan.
