An amateur boxing champion from Brooklyn is aiming to take a jab at the 2020 summer Olympics.

Harley Mederos, 18, has been ranked number one in the country as an amateur boxer since 2015, and number one in the continent this year.

In September, he plans on attending the Youth Olympic Games in Argentina.

However, the champ has bigger plans.

His family already owns and operates a boxing gym in Bed-Stuy where Mederos trains out of.

But Mederos says he isn't looking to make money.

"I drive my own car, have my own place and my own clothes. I'm living good. I don't need any money. I don't need any of that stuff," he says. "My dad put me in a great position in life. We're not hungry for money. If I was to turn pro, it would be to set our future."

Mederos says he hopes to compete in to 2020 summer Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan.
