A man was attacked and robbed at gunpoint by three men in Brooklyn, police say.

The incident happened Tuesday near Meserole Street and Manhattan Avenue just after midnight.

Police say three men approached the 38-year-old victim and pulled out a gun before demanding cash.

The suspects rifled through the man's pockets and removed $50 from his wallet before one of them struck him on the back of the head with an unknown metal object, police say.

The man was transported to Woodhull Hospital where he was treated for swelling to the head.
