DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN -

Chaos erupted on Gallatin Place and Fulton Street Friday afternoon when shots rang out among a group of people.

Officials say the incident began with a group of five people arguing with a 28-year-old man. One of the people in the group opened fire, hitting the man and two bystanders, including a 31-year-old and a 27-year-old woman.

The three victims have been hospitalized and are all expected to make a full recovery.

Officials say that while it is unclear who amongst the group opened fire, surveillance images and several eyewitnesses may be able to narrow down the search.

The investigation is ongoing.
