Norwalk police say officers on patrol looking for drug dealers wound up taking four shoplifting suspects off the streets.
Police say the suspects took merchandise from a Walgreens on Main Avenue and a Rite Aid on East Avenue Wednesday evening.
The officers became suspicious when seeing two suspects sprint out of one store and followed them to the other.
Police say the suspects were using a device that allowed them to unlock storage cabinets where expensive items are kept.
