BED-STUY -

Dozens of NYCHA tenants are backing Gov. Andrew Cuomo for re-election as they deal with a crisis.

Leaders of the NYCHA Tenant Association gathered outside the Marcy Houses in Bed-Stuy to endorse Cuomo as he makes a run for his third term as governor.

Tenants praised Cuomo for investing $550 million to provide emergency relief to 400,000 NYCHA residents.

Cuomo is being challenged by Cynthia Nixon, who has also promised to help NYCHA residents.
