Residents are basking outside the patio of a Kingsbridge pub this summer.

Mr. McGoo's on Broadway in the Bronx has become the neighborhood bar.

With tables, lawn chairs, and even a stage where local artists perform it's easy to see why.

The patio area is where patrons say they come to relax.

Many of the clients often refer to the neighborhood bar as "HQ" or "Headquarters."

"Catch a table, catch some sun with a cold beer," Corey Fields, a customer says.

Fields says the bar resembles a spot one would typically find in Brooklyn and that's why it's so rare to have in the Bronx.
