Police responded to an officer-involved shooting in Far Rockaway, Queens Friday.

They say a 15-year-old was firing guns towards a crowd and that officers tried to get him to drop the gun, but when he did not listen they fired shots at him.

He was then taken to the Long Island Jewish Hospital where he is in stable condition.

The two officers involved were removed to South Nassau Hospital for an evaluation.
