Forecast: Hazy and humid, chance for thunderstorms

A heat advisory remains in effect Thursday as temperatures could reach the mid 90s.

According to the National Weather Service, a heat advisory will remain in effect until 8 p.m.

Thursday's high could reach 95 degrees while a change for a late afternoon thunderstorm is also possible. 

Overnight conditions could bring a relief from the heat with lows around 72 degrees. 

Friday will be cooler with highs of 77 degrees. 

However, News 12 meteorologists say summer temperatures could return next week for Labor Day.
