Posted: Updated:
BROOKLYN -

Thunderstorms that hit Tuesday will be followed by mostly sunny skies on Wednesday.

News 12 meteorologists say a weak area of high pressure will bring a mix of sun and clouds for Wednesday and allow for the start of a third possible heat wave of the summer. Highs will be around 90 degrees.

Thursday should see similar conditions to Wednesday.
