WWE stars visit shelter dogs they helped place in new homes

WWE stars visited an animal hospital Monday to meet with the dogs they helped find new homes and their new owners.
Professional wrestlers the Miz and Maryse and Asuka visited the Faithful Friends Hospital in Gravesend after helping to raise $100,000 for 'Rescue Dogs Rock' and place three of its dogs into new homes.
One of the dogs was used as a 'bait dog' in dog fights. Another dog was found with a fish hook inside of his mouth and another was rescued from a 'kill' shelter. Each dog was placed into a new family, and the wrestlers got to meet with both the dogs and their new owners at the hospital.
'Rescue Dogs Rock' was chosen from a list of organizations when Miz and Asuka won the 'Mixed Match' challenge event competing against other wrestlers where the winner gets donate to an organization of their choice.
