Drink company gives away bikes as part of L train promotion

WILLIAMSBURG -

Some lucky Brooklyn residents walked away from a giveaway with free sunglasses, water bottles and even bikes.

Sponsored by the drink brand Spiked Seltzer, the company gave away 20 bikes as part of a promotion for the looming L train shutdown.

Though many walked away empty-handed and sweaty from the high temperatures, the promotion rolls on Wednesday and Thursday.
