Landlord charged with stealing from Brooklyn tenant

<p>A landlord who's accused of stealing more than $8,000 from a Brooklyn tenant after an illegal conviction has been charged with grand larceny.</p>

A landlord who's accused of stealing more than $8,000 from a Brooklyn tenant after an illegal conviction has been charged with grand larceny.
The Brooklyn District Attorney's Office says the Florida man served as the landlord for several buildings in Brooklyn and Yonkers.
Officials say he took security deposit money and first month's rent.
He's due back in court Sept. 27.
