Stamford police are searching for a man they say allegedly inappropriately touched two 9-year-old girls at Cove Island Park.
Officials say the incident happened at East Beach, which was crowded with people on Labor Day.
They say the man was in the water when he groped the two girls, who then went to tell their parents.
A parent happened to get pictures of the man.
He is described by police as a Hispanic man in his thirties, 5 feet 7 inches tall, and has a bald head, thin beard and a pot belly.
Police say they have no leads yet and believe this was an isolated incident.
Stamford police ask anyone with information to call them at 203-977-4639.
