Thousands flocked to the Sunset Park 5th Avenue Festival Sunday.
The event, which is organized by the Sunset Park 5th Avenue Business Improvement District, stretches from 44th to 59th streets.
Organizers say it's an opportunity to show the different Hispanic cultures in the neighborhood.
The 15-block festival started in 1999 and about 50,000 people attend each year, according to organizers.
Visitors can taste local foods, enjoy cultural music. There were also games for kids and a lot of shopping.
