Bridgeport officials have eased on parking restrictions that had been implemented after the opening of the new Harding High School.
Residents living on the streets surrounding the school were outraged after the city put up “no parking” signs.
Mayor Joe Ganim says the city has now decided to put those rules in place during school hours.
The mayor says that new signs will be put up that restrict parking from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
