Police: Attacker used cane, knife to assault man

A man was attacked by a cane and knife wielding man inside a Brooklyn subway station, police say.
The incident happened Monday inside of the Utica Avenue subway station around 9:22 a.m.
Police say the incident began inside of the subway station when a man swung a cane at a 23-year-old after an argument.
The man with the cane chased the victim outside of the station where police say the suspect struck him several times with the cane and used a knife to slash his arm.
The victim was transported to Kings County Hospital in serious but stable condition, and is expected to be OK.
Police have released a surveillance image of the suspect.
