Some Riverdale residents say they're fed up with what they call constant construction along neighborhood streets.
Devora Courtney says the noise from ongoing work on West 238th Street, between Johnson and Riverdale avenues, is causing her major headaches, with drilling being heard at all hours.
The project is run by the Department of Design and Construction. A spokesperson says it's been replacing old sewers and water mains.
And while some people say the work is necessary, others assert that it's doubling their commute times.
The DDC says the work should be completed by spring 2020. After that, it says the roads will be restored from curb to curb.
