The Mega Millions jackpot has dropped to a mere $40 million after a winning ticket was sold in South Carolina worth just shy of $1.6 billion.
However, two winning tickets worth $1 million were sold in Brooklyn as well!
One of those tickets came out of a mini market on 17th Avenue in Bensonhurst.  The second winning Brooklyn location was a Stop & Shop on Cropsey Avenue in Gravesend.
To win second place you must pick all five matching numbers, not including that all important mega ball.
Those are just two of four second prize tickets in New York and of 36 in the entire country. The other New York locations were in Yonkers and on Long Island.
If you can't shake lotto fever, there is still hope!  The Powerball drawing is tonight with the grand prize at $620 million.
