Alcohol-free pop-up speakeasy opens in Williamsburg

BROOKLYN -

A new non-alcoholic pop-up speakeasy has opened up in Williamsburg Wednesday.

Listen Bar does not serve alcohol, but rather healthy and interesting alcohol-free drinks.

Founder Lorelei Bandrovschi says it's about creating a cool atmosphere in which people can have fun without taking part in adult beverages.

"It's really about creating the social space that a bar represents in our life without making it about alcohol," she says. "It's more about the music and the conversation – and you don't have to lose yourself and get drunk."

The speakeasy is expected to be in the neighborhood until Saturday.
