BROOKLYN -

Dominoes players gathered at the Andalucia lounge in Bushwick Sunday as the New York State Domino Association kicked off its season and welcomed people to join.

More than 100 team members are part of the association.

Coordinator Olga Rosario says dominoes hold a big place in Hispanic culture, and the mission is to continue to bring the league into communities like Bushwick and Williamsburg.

They want to provide safer playing spaces for people of all ages to come and enjoy the game that serves as a slice of nostalgia for many.

Anyone who wants to join or learn how to play is welcome to attend tournaments that will be held every Sunday at the restaurant.
