Police arrest man in connection to reality star’s death

A man is facing charges in connection to the death of reality TV star Lyric McHenry last August.
Police say they have arrested and charged 29-year-old Alexis Meija Ramirez, with concealment of a human corpse, and tampering with physical evidence on Aug. 14.
It has also been revealed that McHenry died from a heroin, cocaine and alcohol overdose.
McHenry was around 20 weeks pregnant at the time.
The criminal complaint says two additional males played a role in hiding the 26-year-old’s body.
Police say were able to make this arrest by using a combination of video surveillance from different locations, phone records, and witness interviews. It is not clear if police will pursue more arrests.
E! News reports that Ramirez is out on bail.
In an earlier statement, McHenry’s family said she was a "lovely young woman who had a deep passion for writing, film, and a long standing commitment to social justice."
