Facts voters should know before heading to the polls

The midterm elections are Tuesday and the Board of Elections wants voters to make sure they have everything they need when they head to the polls.
Bronx and Brooklyn voters will have two-page ballots with a perforated center on the front and propositions on the back. This is a first for residents, so it is important to remember to fill out both sides before scanning the ballot.
Each side will have to be scanned separately. After each page, voters will get a "Thanks for voting" screen.
New York state voters must provide the last four digits of their Social Security number or their driver’s license ID number in order to vote. If they do not have either of these numbers, voters will have to show photo ID.
