Relatives who hadn't seen each other in at least 10 years reunited on Tuesday with a huge celebration at Borough Hall.
These are people who were separated from their families when they emigrated to the United States from the State of Puebla in Mexico.
The state government there sponsored the families on this once-in-a-lifetime trip to reunite with their families.
All of the travelers are 60 or older, and in many cases, they are parents seeing their kids for the first time in decades, or grandparents seeing their grandchildren for the first time.
As part of the program, they will spend the next three weeks with their family in Brooklyn.
