Dozens of PlayStation 4s are up for grabs for kids from Brooklyn thanks to the NYPD.
The contest is the latest effort from the NYPD Patrol Borough Brooklyn North to get children involved in the community through social media.
Chief Jeffrey Maddrey posted a video on the group’s Facebook page Monday, explaining the rules of the contest.
The contest calls for Brooklyn residents under the age of 18 to submit videos explaining what makes their community stand out above the rest.
The PlayStations are provided by the Police Foundation.
Officials say each week there will be a different theme with the overall goal being to connect with young people.
