Thanksgiving Day was greeted by bitterly cold temperatures this year that haven’t been felt in over 100 years.
Forecasters say the 19-degree temperatures made it the coldest Thanksgiving since 1901, tying it for the second coldest Thanksgiving in New York City history.
The cold temperatures aren't gone just yet, so health experts say it's important to cover your face and hands to protect them from the blistering conditions.
As News 12 meteorologists have reported, this weather isn't letting up, so it is advised to stay inside and out of the cold.
