3 hurt when fire breaks out in Bed-Stuy

Three people were hurt when a fire broke out at a building in Bedford-Stuyvesant on Sunday.

Authorities say they responded to the fire at 129 Decatur St. around 1:30 p.m. Sunday. The flames were on the top floor of the building.

Officials say three people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries and one person was in serious but stable condition.

Witnesses say the fire was put out in less than 15 minutes. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
