Tris Pharma, Inc. voluntarily recalls 3 lots of infant ibuprofen
New Jersey-based company Tris Pharma, Inc. is voluntarily recalling three lots of infant ibuprofen due to a potentially higher concentration of the drug.
The products were packaged in .5 ounce bottles for three different brands and sold at Walmart, CVS, and Family Dollar.
According to officials, there is a possibility infants who are more susceptible to a higher drug potency level could experience side effects.
Side effects include nausea, vomiting, epigastric pain, or more rarely, diarrhea.
There have been no reports of any illnesses so far.
